Enter your destination URL and campaign details — get a copy-ready link with clean utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign (plus optional term and content) parameters, correctly encoded and consistently lowercased so your analytics never splits one campaign into five variants. The link builds live as you type, existing query parameters are preserved, and malformed input is flagged before you paste it into a newsletter. Everything is generated on your device.
🔒 100% private: everything runs inside your browser — nothing is uploaded, stored or logged.
The URL assembles on every keystroke and is checked for a http(s) scheme before you copy it.
Destination already has ?utm_source=…? It is replaced, not duplicated — and other existing parameters survive.
Optional forced lowercasing stops Newsletter/newsletter from becoming two sources in your reports.
Spaces and special characters in campaign names are percent-encoded automatically (see the URL Encoder for the details).
Links are built in your browser — unreleased campaign names stay unreleased.
Input & output. Input: a destination URL plus up to five UTM values (plain text). Output: one complete tracked URL with utm_* parameters appended, encoded and normalized — ready for emails, ads, bios and QR codes.
The builder creates standard utm_* parameters; attribution only works if your analytics platform is configured to read them (GA4 does by default). Some platforms strip parameters (some in-app browsers, messaging apps in certain cases) — test before a big send. It does not shorten links; pair it with your shortener of choice, after UTM tagging, never before.
source = where the click came from (newsletter, google, instagram); medium = the channel type (email, cpc, social). Convention: same source values everywhere, mediums limited to a small set — that is what keeps reports clean.
Yes — analytics treats values as case-sensitive strings. Forcing lowercase (default here) prevents Newsletter and newsletter from splitting into two rows.
You can — they are encoded as %20 automatically. But for tidy URLs, prefer hyphens: spring-sale beats spring%20sale.
Not when used on external links. UTM-tagged internal links are discouraged (they can create duplicate URLs); use them for campaigns that leave your site.
Yes — apply UTM parameters first, then shorten the final URL. Shortening first hides the parameters from some platforms and can strip them.
