Extract PDF Pages from Any Document

Need 3 pages out of a 200-page report? Type the pages — like 1-3, 7, 12-15 — and this tool builds a brand-new PDF containing exactly those pages, in exactly that order. Pages are copied byte-for-byte, so text, vectors and images keep their original quality. Everything runs locally in your browser: your document is never uploaded anywhere.

Drop your PDF here or click to browse

You can also paste from the clipboard (Ctrl+V)

Use page numbers like 1-3, 5, 10- (open range = to the last page).

🔒 100% private: your files are processed by your own browser and never leave your device.

How it works

  1. Drop your PDF into the box above (or click to browse — one file at a time works best here).
  2. Type the pages you want, e.g. 1-3, 5, 10- . Ranges keep the order you write them in, and 10- means “from 10 to the last page”.
  3. Press Extract pages. Your browser copies the selected pages into a fresh PDF locally.
  4. Hit Download to save the new document — original file untouched on your disk.

Features

Any order, any ranges

Mix single pages and ranges freely — 8, 1-3, 8 is valid. The output follows the order you type.

Byte-perfect quality

Pages are copied inside the PDF container, not re-rendered: zero quality loss, text stays selectable, vector graphics stay sharp.

Handles big documents

Because pages are copied rather than rasterized, a 300-page source is no problem — memory permitting.

Batch friendly

Queue several PDFs and extract with the same ranges from each — useful for recurring document layouts.

100% private by design

The whole job runs in JavaScript on your device. No server, no account, no upload — safe for contracts and confidential files.

Supported formats. Accepts any .pdf (including multi-hundred-page documents). Outputs .pdf containing the selected pages in your chosen order.

Common use cases

Limitations (honest ones)

Pages are copied as-is: form fields, annotations and comments attached to those pages come along. An encrypted (password-protected) PDF must be unlocked before extracting — this tool does not remove passwords. To get one file per page instead, use the Split PDF tool.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose the order of the pages?

Yes — the output follows your text exactly. Typing 4, 1-2 produces a PDF with page 4 first, then 1 and 2.

Does extracting re-compress or degrade the pages?

No. Pages are copied inside the PDF structure, so text, fonts, images and vectors are preserved exactly as they were.

Can I extract from a password-protected PDF?

Not while it is encrypted. Remove the protection with the tool that created it (using its password), then come back here.

What does a range like 10- mean?

An open range: from page 10 to the last page of the document. 8-11 means pages 8, 9, 10 and 11.

How is this different from Split PDF?

Split PDF cuts a document into separate files (all pages, ranges or one file per page). Extract PDF Pages builds one new file from the pages you hand-pick, in any order.
